Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This policy explains how personal data collected through the enquiry and contact forms on this site is handled.

Data controller

Giaele Gilardi, Via Riaa Bollone 22, 6596 Gordola, Switzerland. Email: giaelegilardi@hotmail.com — Phone: +41 78 673 07 50.

Data collected

When you send an enquiry we may collect: name, email, phone (if given), the property you are interested in, number of guests, stay dates, pets and your free-text message. The server also records minimal technical metadata (IP address and time of the request) to limit automated submissions.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed to answer your enquiry and handle pre-contractual communication. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request and, for technical data only, the legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse.

How data is processed

Data is processed electronically, with technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and to meet any applicable administrative or legal obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once no longer useful.

Who receives the data

Data may be processed by the technical providers needed to run the service: website and email hosting (Hostinger, European Union). Enquiries about a specific property may be forwarded to whoever manages it. Data is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.

External services and transfers

The pages load their typefaces from this website’s own server: no request is made to Google and no visitor data leaves it for that purpose. Icons are loaded from unpkg.com, which to deliver them receives the visitor’s IP address. No profiling cookies or analytics tools are used.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or object to it, within the limits of applicable law, by writing to the controller’s contact details above.

Complaints

If you believe your data is being handled unlawfully, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Availability calendars

Property availability may be synchronised through iCal feeds from external platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb). These feeds only indicate which periods are taken and contain no data about site visitors.
