Cà Ala Cros, immersed in the green of the splendid mountains of the Verzasca Valley, away from the traffic and chaos of the city, is the ideal place to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday with the whole family — and your pet.

Whether it is a business trip or a holiday, in our structure you will enjoy the tranquility of an accommodation surrounded by greenery, in an informal and friendly environment, guaranteed by our direct family management.

The house is equipped with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen/kitchenette and bathroom with shower, all renovated in 2019. It has its own private outdoor space with a granite table, deck chairs and a BBQ area. A few kilometers away is Sonogno — the last and most scenic village in the Valley.

What to do in the area

The Verzasca Valley

The double-arched bridge at Lavertezzo and the clear pools below it are the best-known image of Ticino. Further up the valley lies Sonogno, the last village, among stone houses and footpaths.

The Verzasca dam

The great dam made famous by the opening jump in GoldenEye. You can walk across it and, if you have the nerve, still bungee jump from it.

Lake Maggiore and Locarno

The valley opens onto the lake: Locarno, Ascona and their lakeside promenades are a short drive away, for a day quite different from one in the mountains.
